Tour Our Classroom

Picture
Our classroom library is leveled and organized by common genre, series, or author so that students can more easily choose books that are at their appropriate level for independent reading.

We hold class meetings, gather for interactive lessons, and do read-alouds in our group area.

We do not have a "teacher desk" in our classroom.  However, we have computers where students can take reading comprehension tests, play math games, or complete research on pre-approved websites.

This is our guided reading table. It is here where students read with me. We use reading strategies to help us become more fluent readers and understand what we read.
