The Altoona School PTO has set a goal to raise money for new playground equipment for the school. New playground equipment will benefit everyone and we look forward to reaching our goal.
Volunteers are essential to reaching our goal and we ask for any and all volunteers. Please ask about joining the PTO by contacting the Main Office or by coming to our first PTO meeting on September 19th.

2012 - 2013 School Year

Welcome!

It's hard to believe but it's that time of the year again - the beginning of a new school year. Welcome back to all of the Teachers, Students and Parents! We are looking forward to the upcoming school year.

There's a lot of excitement ahead of us, including new teachers to meet, new books to read, new friends to make and new skills to master...and we look forward to you sharing in those exciting times.

Your children receive the best education when you and our dedicated teachers work as a team. It's a parents enthusiasm, support and involvement that inspires children to do their best; and a teacher's ability to teach what they need to learn. Together we can achieve wonderful things.

Please contact one of the PTO Officers about becoming a volunteer. Volunteers are vital to our school and we welcome each and every one.

Submissions for Cookbook have come pouring in. We are happy to announce we have over 50 recipes submitted. Cookbooks are now available for pre-sale at the low price of $7.00 through November 16th. After November 16th, the price will go up to $10.00 a book. So make sure you order yours today!
