Miss Jones
August 2011
Dear Parents/Guardians:
Welcome to First Grade! I am very excited for this school year, as well as getting to know you and your child. This is my third year teaching First Grade at Altoona School, and I am blessed to work with such amazing people in a success driven environment.
Since I started school, I have always dreamt of becoming a teacher. In May 2009, my dreams came true when I graduated from the University of Central Florida, College of Education.
First Grade is a very special and crucial year in your child’s education. Together, we will teach, help, and watch your child grow into success!
Success in the classroom is a TEAM effort. Communication and your involvement in your child’s education is a crucial part. Please feel free to contact me if you ever have any questions, concerns, or suggestions. I can be reached at 352-669-3444 between the hours of 8:00-8:30 or 3:30-4:00, or at jonesj@altoonaschool.org.
Looking forward to a fantastic year!
Kind regards,
Miss Jones
