Mrs. Pratt's
Fifth Grade
Dear Parents,
It is a pleasure to partner with you in the education and nurture of your students. I hope you are proud of who they are becoming and all that they are learning. Thank you for the time and attention you have invested in parenting. It will continue to yield great rewards as your children grow into adulthood. I am excited about their progress thus far and anticipate they will accomplish much this year.
We are currently establishing routines so that learning occurs smoothly throughout the day. Your students have great enthusiasm for learning. They all recognize the importance of their education.
Your students are also eager to help with chores in the classroom and the entire campus of Altoona School. Each time I ask a student to assist me or anyone else at school they have a great positive attitude. This shows they are primed to accept more responsibility and are eager to mature into capable, caring young adults.
Fifth grade is an important year because all elementary skills are sharpened and consolidated in preparation for middle school. At Altoona School the whole staff works together to see that your student is appropriately challenged to excel academically, physically, emotionally and socially. Let’s have a great partnership this year so the students are equipped to succeed in school and life.
You can contact me by leaving a message at the school office 669.3444, stopping by the classroom before or after school or I can be reached by email at: cindypratt@rocketmail.com.
Sincerely,
Cindy Pratt
