Welcome Altoona Eagles 4-H Family 2011-2012.

Picture
Hello,
Let me begin by intorducing myself. My name is Fran Shanaver. I have been a volunteer at Altoona School for the past six years. This is my fifth year working with 4-H. Our 4-H program is held each Wednesday afternoon at 1pm. Our Eagles from kindergarten to fifth grade are involved in 4-H. Eagles in kindergarten through second grade are considered Cloverbuds and have a set project. These projects are butterflies, bugs and beginning gardening and are completed in the classroom. Third grade through fifth grade are able to select their own projects to be worked on at school. Project sheets will go home soon for project selection.

Teachers and Volunteers are the project leaders. We are always looking for Volunteers who may have a few hours a week to come to the school and become active in our 4-H project. If you are interested contact the school office or use the form below.

Looking forward to a fantastic fun 4-H year!

Sincerely,
Fran Shanaver
